If you’re a new voice actor, or thinking about becoming one, you’re probably thinking about where you’ll find your first voice over gig.
Well, there’s a new niche you need to know about called Audio Dramas. Audio Dramas are free episodic podcasts, available everywhere, with full casts and cinematic landscapes.
We think they’re a great place to get your start because they’re very beginner friendly, open to new voices, and you can work with new producers on their way up.
And while Audio Dramas are fun to work in, they’re also a $3.8 billion dollar industry, expected to grow by 126% over the next 10 years. That’s bigger than audio books!
The pay isn’t bad either–about $2 a line– and your character can have hundreds of lines in a production.
Excited about this opportunity? We are too!
