An important time Sensitive Message from Susan Berkley
Dear Great Voice,
Would you like to do voice overs for documentaries and other long form video narrations like e-Learning? Thinking of exploring the opportunity?
According to a recent article in Variety, an entertainment industry publication,
audiences are now treating documentaries like feature films and solid entertainment; in fact, recent documentaries such as Zappa, Tina, and American Factory have been huge hits.
Streamed video content has played a key part in helping broaden the appeal of feature docs, offering thrilling and emotional real-life stories, such as Crip Camp and my Octopus Teacher, that are often as dramatic as anything fiction could dream up.
And in the video narration arena, TechSmith video viewer research showed that this year, 52% of people reported watching more than two instructional or informational videos each week. This is up from 51% in 2018
But how do you become a long form video/documentary narrator without spinning your wheels? How do you find the voice buyers? It’s such a specialized voice over niche it’s hard to know how to prepare or where to begin.
To help you out, I called my friend Paul Costanzo, a renowned and respected narrator of documentaries and long-form voice over and together we’ve put together an amazing Video Narration and Documentary Masterclass to help catapult you to success.
A little bit about Paul if you don’t know him…
