Dear Great Voice,
If you’re just starting out in voice over, perhaps you’re feeling a little bit in the dark, wondering which niche to pursue.
Maybe you’re nervous about the acting part of commercials and audio books.
Or worried you’ll need to do funny accents or campy character voices.
And you’ve thought, “I’m not sure I can pull that off.”
If you’d like some guidance, you're in the right place… because Corporate Narrations are a great niche for every aspiring voice talent.
CORPORATE NARRATIONS are the behind-the-scenes voice overs businesses use to train employees, explain products, introduce new technologies, motivate sales teams, and communicate with customers.
They don’t require you to do anything zany or potentially embarrassing.
You just need to be is a polished, professional version of yourself!
And here’s the exciting part…
Corporate voice overs can be quite lucrative. You’re typically working on longer scripts, and you can charge by the word with a healthy minimum.
Let me give you an example.
One of my students landed a corporate narration assignment for an insurance company.
The voice over job kept her busy for an entire year, and she earned more than $95,000 from that ONE client!
That’s an exceptional example, of course, but it shows what’s possible in the corporate voice over niche.
To become a successful corporate narrator, you need to hold the listener’s attention for a good long while. But if your delivery is flat, boring or overly formal, you’ll lose your audience.
That’s why corporate narrations require a special set of performance skills, skills you’ll learn from coach DeBorah Pryor on Saturday October 31!
