Every election season, you hear the ads flooding the airwaves:
“Can you believe they want to take away our Medicare? After everything we’ve worked for?”
“I’m voting yes on Prop 17, because clean water shouldn’t be political.”
“Elaine Jones may seem like a nice lady at the PTA… but did you know she voted to allow offenders on school grounds?”
The ads can be fiery, heartfelt, persuasive…
And they’re everywhere.
We’re talking thousands of TV, radio, podcast, and YouTube ads created every election cycle. Local elections, ballot initiatives, political action committees (PACs), advocacy groups and nonprofits.
And they all need someone who sounds like the constituents they're trying to reach.
That means they’re on the lookout for mature voices, regional accents, and everyday authenticity.
During the election season, political voice talent can make up to six-figures being on-call for all the action!
So, how do you get these types of jobs?
Who would you be working for?
And what are the unique demands of being a political voice talent?
That’s what this Flash Training is all about.
I’ve been the voice of many political ads myself, and I’ve got tons of insight to share with you.
Plus, I’ve invited special guest Moxie LaBouche. She’s quickly making a name for herself in political VO and can show you what’s possible, even if you’re new to voiceover.
This is a woman who understands how to get jobs!
Together, we will give you the lay of the land so you know what’s possible for you in Political VO:
