Here’s something every aspiring voice actor needs to know…

When you’re auditioning from your home studio, there won’t be a director standing beside you. YOU are your own director, and if you’re new to voice over, this can be a little unsettling.

How do you make yourself sound more conversational (a typical direction) ? What the heck do they mean when they say they want a ‘real person’ ? Is that my natural speaking voice, or is it something else?

Well, we’re going to get to the heart of it and help you solve this problem on Thursday night.

My co-instructor will be Great Voice Coach Ann Coatney. Ann spent 20 years as an actress in New York and Los Angeles, including an appearance on the hit TV series Sex and the City. Today Ann works with hundreds of voice over clients around the world. She’ll give you simple techniques you can begin using immediately to increase your chances of booking the gig.
